November 2020 – The Lyric Stand’s Bob Rager will have several entries this fall in the Great American Song Lyric Contest and American Songwriter Lyric Contest. Our first foray into lyric competitions was in 2018 and we were honored with a silver award and two honorable mentions from the Mid-Atlantic Songwriting Contest as well as two semi-final berths at the International Songwriting Competition, where only 10 percent of more than 19,000 entries advanced to the semi-final judging round. After sitting out 2019 we’re back in the mix, so to speak. Stay tuned!
